Can you believe the Jets?
I guess the Jets, who haven't done squat since Willie Joe made his prediction in Super Bowl III, have spent their off season partaking in illicit drugs. That is the only reason that I can see why the HC of the J-E-T-S jets jets jets would poke a sleeping dog. From the moment Rex Ryan was hired, he has done nothing but shoot his mouth off about the Patriots and Bill Belichick. Now, you have him making up a recorded statement for the season ticket holders to get them to support the team in a rather loud manner this Sunday. On top of that, defensive back Kerry Rhodes is calling out what would be considered an ass-whooping of the Patriots. Obviously, the team doctor will be checking him for brain trauma since that, other than the drug fiesta, are the only reasons I can see that a player would poke a sleeping bear with a stick.
All I can say is, this is going to be a helluva game and Mark Sanchez better put on a new diaper because he will surely mess himself when he sees some of the tricks that the Patriots D will throw at him. Good Luck, Jets fans... there will probably be an ass whooping but I think it will not be from the green and white.

Agreed! I can't wait for this game!
I can't imagine the Jets winning this game. I also want to see Sunday if it was the Houston Offense that made that Jet D look so good.
Yeah, but isn't it great!
Couldn't agree more about the, "poke a sleeping bear" thing. Over the last week I have done a mental "uh-oh" with each Jets' comment. But at the same time I gotta admit, I'm eating it up! In an age of ever-boasting athletes who aren't able to back up their mouths, who seem to boast just for the sake of boasting, this time around the talk from the Jets feels to me as if it's being driven by legitimate hunger. (Does that make any sense?) And I'm finding it refreshing to the point that I'm getting suckered into thinking they can do it. Poke that bear! I'll be the first to admit I have a Brady man-crush (I'm no Pats fan, I just love to witness greatness) but I'm finding myself rooting for the Jets a bit this weekend. So my question for you, redsoxnation88, what happens if the Jets DO win this weekend? What if they win decisively? What would this mean for the Pats? For the balance of power in the AFC? The NFL? If that happens, the Pats are really just one special teams idiot mistake from being 0-2 right? Your thoughts.
